For many years, even the best of the best in golf have been frustrated because their swing brings about a golf slice, which means either hitting the ball in the middle or on the top. A golf slice swing can however be corrected by gripping the club right, positioning the body in the correct stance, and most importantly swinging the club in the correct manner. Patience and discipline are needed in this situation to get those perfect, lengthy tees. The first thing one must do to correct the golf slice, one must first choose the best club for them. From there, one must practice how to grip the club. This means that one follows the dots on the golf gloves to align ones golf ball. One must be sure to grip the club with the fingers and not the wrist and must not grip it too tightly as this will not bring about the smoothest grip. When gripping the club, one can choose to use the intertwining grip, the overlapping grip, or the hammer or baseball grip, whereby most people support use of more fingers for a better shot. One must then be sure to face the arms and club downwards, not outwards in order to avoid that slice golf swing. The next thing that can correct a slice is the stance. This means that one must bend the back in a straight fashion and not bend the backbone. From there, one must ensure that the feet are on the ground firmly to evenly support the body. One should not focus their weight on their toes, as this will not allow one to have a smooth swing. One must then proceed to put their head down as they attempt to make the tee and then place the feet at shoulder length for men and hip length for women as this will ensure comfort and ease when turning the body on its axis when making the swing. As one makes the swing, they must bend their knees slightly and emulate having a ball between the knees so as not to bend then inwards. The back swing should involve turning the chest outwards and one leg straightening as one bend in that direction. From there, one should not rush the swing and it should not be too fast, as this will cause a golf slice. When one makes the down swing, keep ones head down and then swing as if going through the ball and then turn for the follow through swing. This is the swing where the chest turns in the opposite direction and the chin rests on the shoulder as the rest of the body faces the direction of the swing. Other tips that one can follow is to ensure that the angle between the club shaft and the wrists is maintained when making a back swing and a down swing and not focus on the ball. One must then be sure to keep the ball farther from the feet, as the iron gets shorter to ensure a perfect shot.
