For all players, from the novice to the master, there is always one way of playing this type of sporting activity, which is to swing. The ball has to hit at some point to mark a play. Since this sport is played using hands, most of the techniques therefore concentrate at this point. The player's clutch on the club should be in such a way that there is a combination of the index and the little finger and the index fingers of the right and left hands respectively. This is especially good for those who have thick short but thicker hands. For proper leverage the grasp can be used to achieve or maximize the swing power. This is normally taken as the first step of fixing a golf slice. The other ways of holding a club are derived from other sports like baseball. This is where the fingers are not overlapping as in the first case but still come into contact with each other. For those with strong forearms and wrists, it is recommended to use the overlapping grip. The grasp should be created with a golfer in the correct standing position. Any player of any kind of game or sports activity is required to have balance. This relies mostly on the weight of the person. For this game, nervousness always distracts and negatively influences the quality of the swing. When fixing a golf slice, it is important to check on how the player is positioned from the lower section of the body to the top part. For example, he/she should make sure that there is an angle between the arms and the shaft by not stretching the arm straight and by bending the hips region. Whether the player is first or slow does not really matter. The player is supposed to be as comfortable as he/she can. This should be produced by own personality. When the ball is struck, the player should make sure his/her head is behind it. That is, it should face the target with the chin just over the right shoulder. This is referred to as follow through. Anyone with swing problems and needs the steps for fixing a golf slice should first of all learn this posture without hitting any ball to get the concept. Then it can be followed by adding a few balls after a number of sways. Sometimes, what a participant really needs is some confidence and focus. With more relaxations, they can always start to believe and trust that they are capable of making a good if not perfect swing. This can also be used to build up consistency and reduce the number of sways they make when in a contest. The golfer is not supposed to think of the right hand as often as most do. This is the main cause of the top motion where the curve doesn't go straight and drifts more to the right. The club should be pulled through the hitting zone during the downswing, which is sure to improve the golf swing.
