A good grip on the golf club and better positioning of the player combined with excellent swing position should completely eliminate slice problems. The downswing should ensure that the club is originating and going towards the correct direction. This can only be possible if the player does not lift or push forward with the arms and the weight shifted to the front foot with the body turning towards the target. As a player this will be a proper way to fix my golf swing. The wrists of the golfer should not be rigid but soft and accompanied with the feeling of letting the golf club swing. This is achieved by not forcing the club to turn over with the hands and arms. More practice and work outs should be able to eliminate and do away with this problem and hence give positive results on the swing. Most golf swings normally don't rely heavily on the arms. The arm problem is usually considered to be an issue that can be solved over time and with more plays. Sometimes trying a golf workout where there is no use of arms can prove helpful to the player. Still, this mode of game uses the arms and hands more. Locking (cocking) and unlocking the wrists at the right time reduces some of the factors that will make a wrong tee short. Being an amateur, this probably is a starting point for me to fix my golf swing. It is an automatic processes that always fits in place by itself without being taught. The other aspect that naturally happens to any golf player is the rolling of the left arm slimly in a clockwise direction at the beginning of the swing. This should be left to happen on its own without any struggles. When teeing off, the player is supposed to be firmly grounded. The feet should be on the ground because they are used to anchor the player's swing. After going through all the major mistakes that destroy the perfect swing, a player may still damage the entire thing by starting it from the shoulders. A good backswing should be started from the lower part of the body. A combination of this plus the speed and power applied when teeing always provides a better slicing. To achieve this, the belt buckle should always face the target as the hips are turned with force and power. Another major factor to be considered when playing this game is the position of the head. The head should be in the same position as the swing. Then again, as many people are right handed, they will tend to generate power from their right hand which is totally wrong. For maximum power, the angle between the club and the wrist should be maintained. The swing should not be rushed because the outcome of this is always poor and bad shots combined with unpredictable results. A good swing originates from a better balance which is only found within one's self.
